The summer of 2024 is set to be loaded with international tournaments. In just under two weeks, both the Copa América and the Euros will kick off, with several MLS players travelling to represent soccer in the United States.
Many teams will be affected by the call-ups of their various players between the two competitions, who will still have to compete in the domestic championship, which doesn’t stop.

Inter Miami
The Herons will be affected with up to five losses, which could easily be six. Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay will rob ‘Tata’ Martino of his golden trident of Messi, Luis Suárez and Matias Rojas. However, in the case of the Uruguayan, there is still hope for Miami fans, as Suárez was left out by Bielsa.
The first two are the team’s top scorers, and in addition, Leo Campana, who has stood in for the duo on various occasions, could be called up by Ecuador.
The list could grow if Paraguay call up Diego Gómez as well. On the other side of the world, for the Euros, Robert Taylor will have to cross the pond to represent Finland.

Orlando City
Both Peru and Uruguay will strip Inter Miami’s biggest rivals of their talent. La Bicolor called up both Pedro Gallese and Wilder Cartagena, while La Celeste did the same with Facundo Torres and César Araujo.
For the Euros, David Brekalo (Slovenia) will be the only representative from Florida.

DC United
Thomas Christensen’s Panama is the only team giving international caps to the team of the capital. Jose Fajardo and Eric Davies will be the only DC United representatives at the Copa América.
Atlanta United
Atlanta will be without Saba Lobzhanidze (Georgia) for the Euros and Luis Abraham (Atlanta United) for the Copa América.
