Songs That Usher Could Sing at the Halftime Show
Which songs could Usher sing at the Super Bowl halftime show? The track we are almost certain we will hear is “Yeah!”, which was the biggest hit of Usher’s career. The 2004 single rose to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for 12 consecutive weeks.
In the teaser trailer for Usher’s Super Bowl performance, the song “Yeah” is the focal point of the video. The clip opens with a choir singing the words “Peace up” before we see a montage of old Usher footage, along with different renditions of “Yeah” being played by fans.

While “Yeah” is Usher’s biggest hit, Burn” and “Confessions Part II were also popular tracks from his debut “Confessions” album. Some of his other popular hits include “U Got It Bad,” “U Remind Me”, “My Boo” and “Love in the Club”.

List is an average of top-10 Usher song rankings published by notable media outlets.
As we analyze some of Usher’s setlists, the two songs he typically uses to open shows are “My Way” and “Monstar”. When it comes to closing shows, Usher tends to perform “Without You” or “My Way” to send fans home on an emotional note.
Some iconic Super Bowl closing songs include Prince’s “Purple Rain” and Beyonce’s “Halo”. When you go through the full list of Super Bowl First & Last Songs, you’ll see many well-known hits that cause some sort of reaction (emotional or otherwise).
While we assume Usher will play some of his chart-toppers from the past, we also have to think he will want to promote his new album in front of such a large audience. One of the most popular singles from his new album is titled “Boyfriend” which already has a complementary music video.

Who Might Be Cameos at the Super Bowl Halftime Show?
While Usher is more than capable of performing an entire setlist on his own, it wouldn’t be a true halftime show without some surprise cameos. Singers tend to bring friends or someone important to them onstage for their performance, although Rhianna broke the mold with her solo performance in 2023.
We don’t expect Usher to go solo for the Super Bowl halftime show in 2024, however, as he doesn’t have an unexpected baby bump to reveal to the crowd. Instead, he’ll likely be surprising audiences with a guest singer or two.
There are many options for who will join Usher on stage, but we know one popular singer who won’t be cameoing. Taylor Swift, the boyfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has reportedly stated that she won’t be performing at Super Bowl 58 in any capacity.

Two strong cameo contenders for Super Bowl 58 are Lil Jon and Ludacris, who both are featured on Usher’s most popular song “Yeah”. Alicia Keys and will.i.am also have the potential to appear on stage in Las Vegas due to their respective roles on popular singles “My Boo” and “OMG”.
If Usher wants to appeal to the newer generation, Pitbull could be a wise choice due to his vocals collaboration with Usher on the song “DJ Got Us Falling in Love Again”. Of course, you can’t rule out legendary DJ David Guetta, who featured the R&B singer on his cart-topping “Without You” hit in 2012.
We can also look at that aforementioned Apple Music teaser trailer for possible clues about who might be brought on stage. The trailer features NBA star LeBron James singing along in his car and BTS’ Jung Kook dancing with Usher.
